GK 800RB @ 2 ohms?

  3. well the thing is i am playing a really big venue tonight, and i was gonna hook up two ampeg 8x10s to it. so thats a no no?
     
  4. If you wish to finish the gig with a working amplifier, yes, that's a no-no.

    That's definitely a no-no. When I owned one, I fried it that way. Repairable, but it will leave you sitting for the duration of the gig.
     
  6. is there anyway i could hook up two amplifiers? i have a gk 400rb and a gk 800rb. could i hook them both up (1 to each cab) and not blow my amp?

  8. Sure, that's fine. As long as each sees no less than a 4 ohm load. You would need to run a patch cable from one to the other, perhaps from the effects send.
