GK and Eden?

    To start with I play in a band that is original hard rock. My current rig is a Yorkville XS800, an Eden 2x12XLT, and a Eden 4x10XLT. I was in my store of choice the other day and played through a GK 1001RBII and a Neo4x12 cab and was really liking the sound I was getting. I'm not unhappy with the sound my current rig gives me. The dilema is I don't think I could swing the cost right now for both the GK head and the cab so does anybody happen to know how the GK head would sound with the Eden cab's:confused:

    Should sound just fine, GK heads adjust well to just about any cab. You may find a new love for those Edens!

    Svp, Told this story many times here on TalkBass. My best bassist friend plays through a Aphex Bass Exciter into a
    G.K. 1001 into a 4 ohm Eden 410XLT. He's in a "Loud" heavy metal group, 3 guitarist all with Marshalls, keyboards with a complete 2 cab P.V. P.A. for his keys, drummer. I'd say 9 times out of 10 they take the bass out of the main P.A. cause he's hurting people out front with his stage rig.
    I play in a country/rock group running a Aphex Bass Exciter into a G.K. 800 into a 4 ohm Eden 212XLT. Love it!!!!!!!
    If both of your cabs are 8 ohms they should sound killer with a 1001 when you run them all together. Unless your just wanting to get away from the Eden cabs weight, I'd play them next to the Neo 412. I think you'll find running 4 Eden 10's and 2 Eden 12's is gonna smoke the other cab!
