    Hi,

I just picked up my new GK 1001RB yesterday, any tips on how to use the bi-amp feature.I am not sure I need it.But would love to hear from someone who uses this feature.

BTW, I have a new BL600 that i am thinking of trading up to a 700rb that I saw used in the same shop. It would be my back up.

What cab? Pretty sure you need to use a bi-ampable GK cab, and their own special biamp Speakon cable.

Just dial in the tweeter to taste. That's all there is to it.
You can choose to keep the main amp running full range, or leave everything above 5kHz to the tweeter amp.

I assume you have no trouble hooking it up, since your profile says you have two RBX cabs, and I assume you have the right GK 4-way speakon cables that came with your amp and cabs.

Don't forget to flip the biamp switch on your RBX cabs. bring up the tweeter knob on the amp to taste.
