Is that the 15" cab with a 125W head? I think I considered that at one point, but was turned away when I found out it was only 125W. There aren't many options for expansion with a head like that, which is what I was looking for. Also, I already have a 15" combo, so I was looking for something a bit less muddy (my Peavey got really muddy past a certain volume; didn't work well for band practices). I decided on a 410 and have really enjoyed it.

For the price it looks to be a great starting point. What do you have, as far as gear goes? If that is all the power you'd ever need, it may be a good choice. I'm looking into some GK stuff right now (cabs).

So long as you can continue to borrow an amp, keep looking and saving. That brat pack will never do, you'll outgrow it before you even get started.

That is good advice. No need to rush into purchasing the brat pack if you've got access to something else that gets the job done. I can understand why you'd want something of your own though. Borrowing gear feels strange. :atoz: <- lol.
