Still bit confused about adding ext cab to my 700rb115 combo. Understand the bi-amp bit, with the proper cab, using speakon cable. Can and how do I add a cab that runs off the main amp leaving me control of the tweeter on combo as normal and what would be the min' advised wattage of the cab?

If I understand you correctly, you want to add another cab and be able to use the tweets from the combo? what ever cab you choose you will still have full control of the tweeter amp through the combo and if you use a speakon cable to a cab with a horn you have to make sure 1+ goes to 1+, 1- goes to 1-, 2+ goes to 2+ and 2- goes to 2-. This will be what you will need for the 2nd cab to be bi-amped. Or you could just run the 2nd cab full range and use a 1/4 jack, believe me you won't miss the highs using that GK head. I myself run a GK 1001RB 2x10 combo with a 1x15RBH cab, The tweets are at 9 o'clock at both dials! OH and as far as wattage, you can get away with a minimum of 200w
