Wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue and fixed it. I'll call GK tomorrow to see what they think. Showed up for a session yesterday, plugged it, turned on the amp and the little status light goes from red to purple/pink. Usually goes red then to blue when ready to play. Under the purple/pink status, no sound is coming out of the amp and there didn't seem to be anything i could do to fix it. At this point my only fix is to try a different power cable. Hoping the amp isn't dead, but it may be. I'm thinking the cuplrit was leaving in a hot car all day(like real hot, likely got to 110 degrees in the car) Anyone had this happen and fixed the issue?
isn't there a second button on the back that disconnects the speaker? If so, it could have been accidentally pressed. I don't have a GK, but have (rarely) played through one, so I may be misremembering.
You could try to plug and unplug a jack on all the jacks plugs. I had a similar problem with a GK MB 150 and it came from the Effects loop plug that cuts the sound. Pluging and unpluging a jack in that plug make my sound coming back. It was a false electrical contact that cuts the sound.
