Did this fly under the radar? I’m new to the head-and-cab amp world and I recently got an 800-watt head so naturally I immediately online window shopped for a matching cab. Stumbled upon the Neo IV series at Sweetwater.

Anybody else excited for these? I’m looking out for the 112. The Sweetwater rep said they’ll have them by the end of the month.

If they are an improvement on (which is likely IMO) or even just as good as my Neo 112 II cabs, they will be an excellent choice. I think the form factor was reworked to complement the new GK Combos (Legacy and Fusion).

  3. Also, they are a perfect fit under the combos. The cabs are all 19" wide except the 410, which is sized to fit under the 410 combo at 23".

    Smart hockey.

GK's new line looks well thought-out and cleanly engineered. I'm looking forward to hearing the new products at some point. However, I suspect I wouldn't be disappointed buying any of them without auditioning them first...and I don't say that often!

I'm looking closely at the 210 models.
"Maybe", two of them stacked as a vertical 410?

They look awesome. Very well built. GK's answer to Mesa's Subway series.

I'm already a big fan of the Neo 212 II. I'm looking at a 212 or 410 in the new style.

I haven't had interest in any new cabs in a long time.
I could be interested in a single or pair of 210.

They blacked out the grills! Yay!
On my neo II's, first thing I did was pull the grills and shoot them black.

    So.
    They're copying me.

    @rag
the specs page doesn't show frequency response for the different cabs in the lineup; do you guys have that info that we could see?
    thanks

My rep from Sweetwater could not get the specs for the frequency response. I really always liked the mark 3 neo's but I had no need for the bi amp feature. Me thinks GK might be moving away from those... Ill never get to try one out locally so at worst I send back to Sweetwater. I love the form of the new GKs a lot! I'll report in when I get it.

I remember that. You posted a pic, right? Looked good. Now you have to buy the new one. ;)

  15. Handles on top.

So - combo in left hand, extension cab in right, like suitcases. Nice!

Re handles: i asked Jason/GK for clarification about the 112 (not sure about others): the 112 cab has inset metal handles on either side. The 112 combos have single strap handle on top, objective being able to carry combo in one hand, bass (or second cab) in the other.

I saw them, but they're heavier than a lot of similarly priced 112s, so not appealing.

Maybe the Chef Signature Series Cabs are an homage and they'll ship them to you on the house.

I'm not necessarily excited about them, glad they're out though cause it means price drops on some other GK stuff. Gallien-Krueger Neo 212-II is now $168 off while supplies last. And the Gallien-Krueger Neo 412 is now $300 off while supplies last.
