GK or Trace Elliot

    Humming and hawing about buying a new amp and its down to either a GK1001 or a TE 12 band amp.

    I like my tone to be very articulate but still maintain deep articulate bottom end, also I like to be able to dirty it up Geddy style from time to time.

    I love Fleas tone and I know GK help to get him there so thats why I've always liked their tone, though I've never played through one cos there's none in Ireland.

    My other option is a Trace Elliot as they're pretty sexy amps.

    What's the TB opinion?

    GK's are great. I almost bought a 212 from them. But now I'm on the path to Orange Amps. Good luck to me, right?

    Anyway, I own the GK 1001RB-II head and it sounds fantastic.
