I recently purchased a new 1001RB head for my 2 GK RBX 210 cabs.

I use a BL600 for a backup and I want to trade up to a 700rb.What will I gain from this upgrade?

  2. Gain power and tone options, Biamp for your G-K cabs. Your will loose the overdrive channel from the BL600. A slave option from the 1001rb with more cabs to get into demolition? :)

If you want the G-K growl you will be able to get it without totally insane volume levels.

A 700 would pretty much be a great backup amp. Just as good as your primary. Im still looking for a 700/210 or 1001/210 combo in good used shape as a backup for my 1001/210 combo I already have. You could bring them both on big shows for a massive vertical stack...

The 700rb is used, suposed to be "mint". I bought my BL600 new for 225.00.For the trade I have to shell out 175.00.Uncle Bob's, Milwaukee. They have always been decent to me on price. They don't dink around, his first quote is always fair and you can't do better anywhere else in town.

Or you could get a MB2-500.
