I've tried an Hearcore old model (400 watt) last week and sounded great both with my Fodera and Rob Allen basses but It's heavy! Do you think that going to a preamp from Glock + a Stewart 1.2 I will have a similar (or even better) sound?

Have you got some experience about Glockenklang amp/preamp?

    Thanks :)

The Heartcore is a little more "rock'n'roll" than the more highend high-fidelity BassArt and Bugatti preamps. You can still rock with either of those though. State-of-the-art preamps.

Having said that, I played numerous times over a friend's Heartcore, and it's one killer amp.

Wow! If the Heartcore is more "Rock" I can't imagine the Classic Pre Amp!

In wich way do the Stewart 1.2 will affect the Glockenklang sound?

    Very little.

Pretty what goes in is what comes out only louder.

I'd recommend the QSC PLX1202 in place of the Stew, but that's just my pref.

    DSFDF. Yada, yada, yada...

Or try the new Heart-Rock with 750W @ 4 ohms (1650 Euro list price in Germany), probably the rockingest GLockenklang amp.

Well I'm very curious about the new Heartrock but I play jazz 90% of the time and anyway 17kg is very much, I think I'll go to Glockenklang preamp + stewart 1.2 :hyper:

I play it that way. Classic art preamp and Hafler poweramp, and it sounds wonderful. Clean and punchy
