Glockenklang SOUL head

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by soulbrother, Apr 19, 2002.

  1. Hey all,

Aguilar seems to be IT but it is very expensive over here in The Netherlands. Currently I play a SWR Silverado Special combo (350 watts, 2 x 12" speakers) and I am not quite satisfied with my sound anymore. I was thinking of a Glockenklang Soul head with a Take Five 4 x 10" or 2 x 12" cabinet. Who of you has some experience with Glockenklang?

    Thanks! Werner.

    'Brother-
I have played thru the Soul head....
(hmmmm....why does that remind me of a certain
    bass guitar?:D )

In my case using an Eden 210-

It is the among the best SS heads I have ever used- Tone like a bell- Big, Huge, Round, punchy,
    deep- It has it all.
    Mercedes/Grundig/BMW/Warwick/Glockenlang.
    Deutscheland!!! (I've been there, thebier
    is pretty good too!

Aguilar is very distinctive of course- There are options, and the Soul head is a very good one-
Is Glock more reasonably priced? Here the opposite
may be true, in that it is very high-ticket and not easy to come by.

Maybe a "smuggling" operation is in order-
    Note- IRS, just kidding!!!
