    Hello !

I would like to know your opinion about Glockenklang products...
    I would like to buy a Glock "soul bass top" and a "4x10 Quattro" + "Uno 1x15"... or 2x12 + 1x15... or 2x10 + 1x15

What is the best rig ?
What is the difference between Glock products and Ampeg products (610HLF, 410HLF...) and others manufactures ?

Tell me about sound, live experience...

    Thanks a lot !!

You can't compare Glockenklang with Ampeg.
Ampeg is a mass manufacturer and caters to those who want a rock sound.
Glockenklang is a six man operation who build highend gear that aims for uncolored, high fidelity sound reproduction (to the fullest in the Bugatti and BassArt lines, the lower-priced models are a little more rock, but still highend).

PM Matthias, he owns a 2x12 and loves it.

I think the Quattro is the allround box, without the typical 4x10 mid honk.

I reckon Trip Walmsley will be along in 10....9.....8...7.....6.....5....

  5. I am also interested in Glockenklang, though i doubt i'll ever have the funds to have one shipped here (Canada) or to go to Europe and buy one, heh.

However, does anyone know how the Bass Art sounds in comparison to a Bugatti?? As well, which of their 4x10's is their 'Premium Quality' Cabinet??

Anyone know where i could find some of their used stuff?

    Thanks!

I have glock bass art preamp and it's the jewel in my rack. If you want to use more than one cab I suggest to get glock preamp and some good poweramp like qsc plx (cost much in europe)or yamaha cp2000. Glock deliver IT with any poweramp

I have the 212 for quite some time now and I still love it for it's smooth and balanced sound. To my surprise it has a deeper and rounder bottom end than my Ampeg 215 which is stronger in the low mids (and a bit louder).

If you want to buy 2 cabs I would suggest 1x15 and 410 - best combination for deep bottom and punch.
