Anybody want to tell me how to this...I plan on buying a Fender American jazz neck and doing it on that...I need to know every detail of what to do...thanks for the help.

  2. sims custom
you send your neck to this guy and he will do it.
as far as how he does it, its a "secret".

  3. I just saw your other post, so you already know of sims custom.
I was reading around on the website and I think I read that he uses fiber optics.

  4. I think i know how he does it.. :)

just peal off the fretboard, make 2 small gulls, and put some wires + leds in it.. then put the fretboard back on..

  5. any pics of glowing basses?

  8. will he change the inlays to custom ones?

  9. I'm pretty sure he does custom leds. But I don't know if he'll change the inlays (ie blank fingerboard) It'll cost an arm and a leg though. Yeesh!

do the manufacturers who currently offer LED's from the factory (alembic, warwick, etc) just send them to sims to have it done, or do they just do it during manufacturing?
