GO G&L!!

    For some reason, I don't like the way the JB-2 looks. :( I do want to buy another L-2000 in either black or lake placid blue w/a maple board. Or maybe I'll buy both. ;)
     
  2. ohh c'mon...that is an awesome color...i love that sunburst finish. Well, i guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :)

    I tried one of those out a few weeks ago. I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be - The tone was nice (like a deluxe american jazz bass, not quite as nice as rich as a 60's or 70's one), but again no shielding (why why why), and the neck didn't seem as substanial to me as most G&L necks. The action was quite low, but with lots of buzz and that chocking thing when you bend strings. Maybe I would have liked it better with slightly higher action, and if I hadn't tried out a Sadowsky beforehand. But I think I like the L2000 more anyway.
