Wasn't the best halftime show, wasn't the worst either. I like how he gives his musicians freedom to improvise to an extent. Anyone here the Bass-voice duet the second time the crowd was doing the "Naaaa-na-na" part?
I never expected him to pull out the Hofner... I called hey jude and live and let die... but man even though I couldnt catch him in the mix... nothings more awe inspiring then to just see him standing there with it in hand. Especially considering last years half time show. Though that was ... awe inspiring in its on right
that was awesome! can't fake that kinda performance, he's been performing most of his life and it shows. the drums were grooving on "hey jude" too.
I called Hey Jude. I liked Drive My Car a lot though (Beep beep mmm beep beep YEAH!), and Get Back. I found it a little funny how they let him say "California Grass" though.
I thought it'd have been funny if he showed some nipple...... . Just kidding. It was a decent halftime show. I thought it was cool how they had everyone in the stands hold up a colored card and made a design with "na-na's" and whatnot.
Boo... . It's all in good fun. I don't feel to strongly about the game, but I'd like to see the Eagles win. On a side note..... I was watching the halftime show with my dad and brother, and my dad was commenting on how they were showing everyone on screen but the bass player. Keep in mind that this was when Paul was rocking out on the Hofner. I told him, "You're kidding...... right?" He had no idea .
I loved it. I was so happy not to see some hip hop crap or talentless lip synching pop diva with 10000 dancers.
Whaddaya think he got? $50k per song? Friggin' Philly. Great, McNabb just threw another INT! Down by 10 with about 7 minutes to go. Oh well, if it takes 'em another 25 years to make it to a Super Bowl...I'm in trouble.
I saw on the screen during a challenge (I think) that no team trailing by +8pts has ever made a comeback. Did anyone else see when Belichek (SP?) went to the wrong side of the field?
