Alright, here are the upcoming stats of my new bass:

    32' scale 5-string fretless with a High-C instead of a Low-B

Quilted Macassar Ebony Top, African Mahogany Core, Cocobolo back w/ bloodwood laminates

the neck will be maple w/ bloodwood stringers and a bloodwood lined fretboard (the lines will be made from maple)

electronics will be a single special Nordstrand passive pick-up, with just a volume and a tone control

Strings will be Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flatwounds

I really have to tell you guys that the luthier who is making it for me is a truly amazing guy. He is BY FAR the most talented Luthier in Toronto, if not all of Canada. His name is Les Godfrey, if any of you want to check out his stuff, go here: http://www.godfreybass.com/

His body designs are quite unique. Although I drew the body design for my own bass, I do own one of his Dragonetti basses w/ a wonderful custom scroll-headstock (to look like a double bass),I'll post pictures when this beauty is done,
