Godlyke PowerAll on MXR 90 phaser

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by hvingsand, Jul 18, 2005.

  1. Just wondering:
What kind of adaptors do the MXR 90 phasers need? I have a Godlyke PowerAll adaptor, so I just need to know which one of the cables to use on it...

The battery has died, and I need the adaptor to use it now...
I'm too lazy to unscrew the bottom, so I can change the battery.

1st: You should remove the battery as its not good to leave batteries in fx pedals (or anything for that matter). It could leak and destroy yout pedal.

2nd: If its a newer "boss style" adapter input, just use the daisy chain.

I have both the M-90 and the Godlyke.

The normal daisy chain is fine.
  4. The older MXR-90's have a similar power adaptor socket to what the NYC Big Muffs have (some sort of 3.5 inch style pin, not a Boss style). I have seen adaptors on here that you can plug into your daisy chain to convert from the Boss style plug to this one (cant find one of these in Australia tho! :crying: ).
  5. Thanks everyone! My MXR is quite new, so I'll just use the daisy chain.

And I'll even remove the battery, too
