I saw freekbass at the Detroit Bassfest. He puts on a killer show. I enjoyed it ALOT more than the CDs.

From time to time I play with this drummer, his name is "DJ Burel" and he has played for both Freekbass and sub'd in for Bootsy's drummer a bunch before moving to ATL...

From the story's that he tells about F'bass, the cat is a trip...

Yo BB, Isn't Malthumb from Mo-town?

Really? What kind of stories? He was a madman on stage. I was suprised when I started rapping with him between sets that he was totally cool and down to earth.

Killer live show, freekbass has amazing stage presence.

They did a killer cover of David Bowie's "fame" too.

Oh ya, when we saw him his cabs were the massive Kustom cabs. Not sure if they were actually designed for bass or pa, but they were huge. Either 2x15, or 2x18's.
