Hello! this is my first post so i'll be brief, does anyone know how to replicate the bass tone from Flying Whales on a Zoom-B1Xon?

his tone is an overdriven bass played with a pick. i'm not sure what pedals are modelled on the B1Xon, but you should be able to dial in a light to medium overdrive sound and get pretty close.

I think their bass player uses Schecter Diamond P models that have a humbucker in the bridge. With a pick, that is where the honky bite comes from. I don't know what sort of drive he uses, but it is definitely blended with a clean signal.

The p-bass you're referring to is actually an old Fender American Deluxe 5 string P-bass. Which are now discontinued. He mostly uses Fender jazz and PJ configured basses now.
