*GONE* Tuning Gears, Antique Italian

  1. Tuning gears, antique Italian, from three-string bass. Fourth tuning gear is later addition. Estimate that the three gears are 1700s and the fourth is 1800s.

    Currently, the three gears are mounted to wood (oak) as a desk display/paperweight. The gears are hand-made and are really not up to modern standards but are complete and probably usable.

    The gears came off an Italian bass that was restored in 1982 and was in use up to then. Screws included but not shown in pictures.
