I have an awesome sounding pre Gibson, Trace Elliot 1524 2x15 cab, 4 ohm, but looking for a good 4 ohm, 410 cab to use with, and that works well with, the vintage SVT. The 2x15 is just physically too large for some gigs and need a 410 to use as well. Problem is that it seems most 410 are 8 ohms. The only one I have seen so far is the Ampeg 410hlf

I grabbed an old Ampeg B40 with no speakers, am loading it with four Eminence Basslite SC10-16s, and wiring it for 4 ohms. Kind of a circuitous route, but that speaker is built for sealed boxes, goes down to 50hz and take 150w each. Should be a nice match with my '72 Magnavox SVT.

The 410hlf is a commonly used one, but it goes crazy deep with the lows. A lot of folks love it, but iIf you're looking to keep your sound in the 810e ballpark, I might suggest the SVT 212av. True, it's not 10"s, but speaker size is way less important than copping the sound you want, no?

Agree that speaker size is less important, just always liked 10's and thought 410 would give more girth and volume than 212 (or even 215 for that matter). Never been able to hear the new 212av

Thats pretty much my setup right there. 1972 SVT blueline and Ric 4003....only I currently have it running it through a pre Gibson Trace Elliot 2x15. Also have a Mesa 410 that I use with my Orange AD200B, but its 8 ohm, so don't use it with my SVT
