I'm looking into getting a new amp, I still need a great bass sound, but I am successfully using my 6 string tobias with a Roland GR-33. So I need something that will also give me a good clean, and clear sound for that area.. please let me know if you have any ideas..

    Thanks,

  2. I should think you would need a flat and natural and full range sounding rig. I'd get a clean hi-fi pre-amp and power-amp. Any of the hi-fi cabs like EA, Bergintino, Epifoni, Acme, SWR Triad, Bag End, and even some smaller PA cabs should fit the bill. Stay away from single size speaker enclosures like 1-2x15's 4-6-8x10's etc. w/o tweaters. They are usually voiced for bass guitar and may sound fine for the bass alone but fall short on many of the midi sounds. jmho
