What would you pick for an easy-to-use (maybe graphic over parametric), rackmountable, affordable (less than $200) eq for a bass rig?

Would be used with a Sansamp RBI. My objective is to have better control over frequencies, especially mid range, for cutting through the mix.

Behringer do them new for $100 or less.

I like the Rane PE 15 (that's parametric, mind) which you can pick up used for $100-$120

What about a Fishman Pro Eq, it's not rackmount but is it simular to what these would do?

I was thinking that it only had 5 channels? I would probably want one or two bands to boost below 50 Hz as well. I guess everyone wants more than they have.

Thanks guys...I'm taking a closer look at those models. That Behringer Ultra-Q looks good for the price.
  7. It is good for the price (my brother has one), except the low and highpass filters seem a bit weak

I must've missed that sale. I talked to GC and the best they can do is $200. But that's still a good price.

Now I'm leaning more toward either the Aphex or a Rane.
