good deal or bad?

    Today, I went to guitar center and put a used SWR Workingman's 15 combo bass amp on layaway. It was $500, plus tax. So is this good or bad? I don't know much about amps. So if it is good I'll stick with it, and if it is bad, can I find something better for the same or less money? Thanx for any replies.

    hehe, i almost bought that combo, until I discovered the beauty, and not to mention much more expensive price, of rack systems. That amp normally goes for $650 to $700 around here in Florida. That's a good price for where you are, since your basically right next to the SWR factory in California. Get it, it's one of the best combo practice/gig amps I've ever heard.
