I should say this is junk so you won't bid on it and I can get another one. I think mine is awesome. I've had it almost a year and still think it is some of the best money I've ever spent on a bass.

That or a used Fender Standard fretless J. The lines will give you confidence, and you can define your sound and go from there.

I played one of these in GC the other night. I was amazed at how good it was! Nice quality and playability for $279!

The SX fretless basses are not bad either. They are a bit cheaper than the Squiers and every bit as good.
