    Change the GUARD???

I wouldnt change a thing! That is a thing of absolute beauty!!!

  10. I can't wait for mine to look like that! Granted it's a Squier, but same color finish and neck and it's a '92, but it's already settled into this nice yellowed color and the body and a tanned neck.

The guitar has been poorly repainted.
The body and neck have some wear.
The pot knobs have been replaced.
    The frets have some wear.
    The electronics do not work.

Oh well.., if you want to be particular... :smug:

  13. I am sure its an awesome bass
but I need more than vanilla personally if I want a mucky yucky Fender bass

Yellow is nice but give me a 3 tone sunburst or Burgundy Mist
thats been lighted on fire by some madman
dragged through the streets of Pamplona during the running of the bulls and
then tossed and toured over 5 continents

yeah the yellow is cool too
    (except maybe the knobs )

  14. Oh hush with your important distinctions :p

Way to ruin the buzz. Obviously the body, neck, and frets would have wear if heavily played.

The current pickguard looks like a piece of cardboard.... and ano' gold dosen't look good on pale body/neck combo anyway.

It looks like it wants to be refinished in CAR with a diamondplate 'guard.
