    Hey guys,
What are some good, relatively inexpensive, hollowbody basses? I want something that will give me e nice warm, round, old school sound. I want it to be good for blues and country folk.

  2. Epiphone Jack Casady.

There's also a thread on the board right now entitled: Acoustis Basses. It's
on the second page if you're interested.

DeArmond Starfire, if you can live with short scale. My personal opinion is that they are better built than most Epiphones.
  4. I've been plugging the Dean Rhapsody hollowbodies a lot lately.. guess I might as well again. :)

Oh yes...Epiphone Jack Casady Signature Model. Hands down. This is a great bass (and a great deal, too!). I have several hollow/ABGs and I can't put down my Casady!
If you've got the $$$.....check out some of these....
Azola Jazzman (what a dream to play!)
Rick Turner Renaissance (all the hype is REAL)
    Rob Allen (simply incredible)

Reverend Rumblefish! Broad tonal spectrum, big smooth bottom. Excellent neck, nice fretwork.
    Try one...
