I was playing my uncle's piano today and decided that I should get a keyboard. I do not need a full piano scale one, just enough to get the job done. This will most likely not be used for live preformances. Any suggestions?

Try the Yamaha DGX 300. I have the DGX 500 (the 88-key model), and its voices are superb, especially the pianos. Over 500 voices, midi in/out, rhythym loops, styles, and much much more.

  3. I too have the DGX500 (got it as a Christmas present) and it has proven very useful. I don't use the loops or the recording features on it much, but the basic, unprocessed voices sound very good. I can't imagine why the DGX300 would sound any worse.

Thanks for the suggestions! I checked out the 300, and it seems pretty nice. I have yet to check out the 500. I am so hyped! New keyboard here I come!
