that can do a re-finish?
It depends on what you have.
A couple of names for you ....
Nothing New Music, Lakehurst, NJ 732-657-5577
This place handles primarily vintage stuff. Not particularly cheap.
Phillip Petillo, West Deal, NJ 732-531-6338
A private restoration guy. I know nothing about him personally, but have heard that he does decent work.
AFAIK, most of the places in Jersey ship stuff out to points unknown for repair/restoration. Definitely make some in person contacts with these guys to confirm that they do the work in house ....
Sorry I couldn't be of more help
thanks, i just want to get my bass re finished in polyester.
Jim makes great tube amps, does amplifier and guitar repair.
Not exclusively a luthier...but a very helpful, nice, and capable gentleman.
Just had him replace the pots, and put a new nut on my 7-string, as well as service/modify one of my tube amps.
Top notch service!
