  1. i wasn't sure if this is the right forum, and if needs to be moved i'm sorry...

but anyway, i need a good mixing board that is self powered and afforable. i only need about 6 channels, but it needs to be loud enough to be heard over Marshall stacks and a loud drummer. any suggestions? thanks

  2. whats your budget?...Mackie 808s or 808m are nice powered mixers loaded with features and sound real nice..competetivly priced with others in it's class, and I think they make a 6 channel version too,but I don't think it's as powerful as the 808.good luck on your quest....

  3. i'm looking in the range of 600-1000 canadian(about 400-650 american)

  4. unfortunately the Mackie is a little more than your lookin to spend.so I would look at Yamaha,Fender,Peavey or look in the used market.maybe you can find a Mackie..happy hunting..:)

  5. I had a Samson that treated me good.
    Affordable as well.

  6. Getting over guitar stacks is easiest by turning the stacks down. Your average set of vocal PA speakers simply cannot keep up with stadium rigs. "It's rock man!" is a crock.

Should be lots of powered mixers out there used. The Carvin 8 channel is $499. Lots of similar stuff.

Eh. It's really not that bad on this forum. It's still relevant, and fits perfectly in with the Daily "What's the best distortion pedal", "What's the best string" threads.

    Hi,

Will I break anything if I ask "What is the best metal for metal?"

I'm always afraid I'll melt the internet if I Google "google". [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I highly suspect you have watched British comedy beyond Monty Python.

  15. Like, Benny Hill? Great show. Always love the scenery.
