Good pedal for mid rangy distorsion.

    looking for a distorsion pedal for my bass. I like mid range sounding distorsions.

    If you are looking for that 70's distortion sound, I recommend a BJF Blueberry bass overdrive. It really excels at this. The tone control is different from the typical treble roll-off type. This control adjusts mid emphasis. Only at the most extreme positions do you get treble or bass shelving.

    After finding some clips of that pedal. I need something with more distorsion, basically a fuzz with mostly mid range

    Fulltone 70's pedal...

    It is a silicone transistor fuzz with Volume, Mids, and Fuzz controls... Since the only tone control is for Mids I think its what you need...

    The Blueberry can get into a heavy distortion/Fuzz. Fuzz is, in my opinion, heavy distortion with lots of bottom end.

    I have not tried the 70's pedal, but I would assume that the mids are tailored to guitar mids since it is a guitar effect. Still, it could sound good.
