Good recording programs?

Discussion in 'Recordings [BG]' started by B8ssMan89, Oct 29, 2004.

  1. What recording programs are good for recording bass?
I've been thinking about getting Acid Music. But I dunno. I used Garage Band thats by far my favorite. I just dont have a mac though. Any suggestions? Also, I cant spend too much. $200 is my max range.

hmm, tricky, most programmes are good for recording bass(nuendo, cubase, logic, sound forge), you just need a decent desk/pre-amp/di i would suggest with a half decent sequencing programme.

if you liked Garage Band, you'll like Tracktion. It's great and only costs about 80$.

I use Cakewalk started on Guitar Tracks and now use Sonar 2 XL

I either plug into my cheap sound card direct or through the line out of my Ashdown combo.
