good simple amps (help me find one)

    i am basicly looking for new bass amp but i don,t know where to start i want a good tone at any volume but i don't want to spend days finding the right tone it needs to be about 100 watts could be more but no more than 400 watts

    Hartke LH500 for the win here. Simple, easy to dial, not too heavy, very cheap, plenty of watts. "no more than 400" is kind of a silly measurement though - can't hurt to have extra headroom.

    Im thinking about £400 (yh I know my english sucks) what do you guys reckon is better a head and cab or a combo one?

    johnk that fender studio bass amplifier looked amazing I was having a look at your website and was wondering if you could tell me anything about the Vox 150 watt tube "Super Beatle" because it looks amazing
