I need a suggestion for a good brand of
speakon to 1/4 cable to run from my power
    amp to speakers.

    Where to buy as well?

    Thanks!!!!!

  2. Does anyone know where to get one that's not 25 feet long. It's just going from head to speaker. 3-5 feet should be fine.

Make your own. It's easy, and you'll be grateful for the ability to do it. It'll come handy on a gig when you have a broken cable.

Robb's Music in Boulder has 6 footers -- I just bought 15' speakon to banana (per Eden's recommendation) there.

  6. If you want a premium quality cable, (AllHail) Bob Gollihur makes and sells them from his site.

I have one that's 3 feet long. It's made by Tara Labs. Bought it from www.r2musical.com

They're expensive, but some say are by far the best cables out there.

  8. I agree with JMX. Make your own...then you can have whatever length you want in whatever configuration you want.

I bought several at GC in the Pro Audio area. These are marketed by Ampeg and are 6' long. I think that I paid $18 where as I seem to remember them being $30 at BassNW. Of course BNW will match or beat anyones prices.

I got some Monster Cables with Neutrik speakons. They seem better made than the chinese knock-offs.
