Good use for keyboard sustainer pedals?

Anyone ever find a use for these foot switches? You have to hold it down, it's not a click. My friend passed it over to me, never really using it and needing to get rid of it. The only thing I can think of is of you have pedals in "effects send" that you don't use often and you want to blend them.

    The frozen north
Might perhaps be useful with a MIDI controller.

I don't quite see how you would use it for your effects blend idea.
  3. I had some mixed success using one with my line6 m9. I set it to do momentary pitch shifting or tremolo type blasts. I didn't care for it enough to make it a part of my rig though.

This is what I mean. Maybe use it for unconventional pedals/settings, like tremolo+reverb+delay or something.
  5. i have a sustainer pedal i use to control tap tempo delay on a rack unit.
