I finally got a job. It seems pretty cool although I haven't started yet and I'll have to go to Houston next month for a 5 day training session. The job is program manager for a specialized learning program called Bridges at a local school. It's actually for the same social work organization that I worked for in a different town but it's a different program and position. This is a pilot program and basically I work with a small percentage of students who don't qualify for remedial classes but who just haven't properly developed their learning abilities. The concepts are based on a lot of science and research and so far they've had excellent success with it. I met with the principal today and he's got good vision for the school. This is his first year there.

Anyone that wants more info about Bridges can visit http://www.bridgeslearning.com.

Obviously this will cut into my TB time but we'll see how it works out. :D

Dude, you're not going to be able to mindlessly troll TB all day now. Your presence will be sorely missed!

Jobs suck. Houston sucks. Soon this will all become clear to you.

    My condolences.
