So when you search something, you get some Google tool bar on the side.

Personally, I am not a fan of it. I want the old Google back.

It's the Google "search bar" on the left that bugs me.

  4. I noticed that today too, I don't like it.

Just seems to make things appear more cluttered.

I only get it sometimes. My only guess is that it as to do w/ your browser and/or settings. For instance, I'm not getting it on this computer but I know I get it on my netbook at home. I've not seen it yet on my iPhone (use the Google app or the google search box at the top), but have noticed it in the past on my MacBook Pro.

That's odd. I get it on Firefox, Chrome, and IE.

I just want my old Google back.

as long as when I type in "Joeseph Ducreux", Google keeps providing me with hillarious entertainment, I don't mind it either way.

It's ugly and I hate it. Google seems to think that they don't need off switches for things that ruin their site.

    I like turtles.
I don't understand why people keep changing things. They keep changing Facebook and each time it becomes less good. They've changed YouTube recently, they've changed Google. What's next? TalkBass?

When I first saw it my reaction was, "Ha! Google just ripped off Bing!"

It's totally how Bing is set up. I think it's practical though... what's not to like about it except that it's different from how it was?

Well, that's what my issue is with the new set up. The old one was perfectly fine. You had your results, and that was it. Not this silly search bar which just compresses the page and makes everything look cluttered. As someone said before, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I might get used to it, but I won't like it.

Clutter is never a good thing. I'm with those who think it's not a good change.
