Hi all,

Just recently signed up to talkbass forums. Spent the last few days browsing and felt the time was right to join in!

My name is Sam. I'm currently studying Popular music performance at Chester university in the UK and will be heading into my 3rd and final year after summer. As the name suggests I'm quite a fan of The Clash but I've just posted a fair bit of information on my profile if anyone wishes to have a look at my other influences and other info

I've been playing bass for coming up 5 years now and learned a lot about this wonderful instrument along the way, and I know I still have a lot more to learn! I currently play a Vintage EST96 5 string, which at first took a while to get used to because I was so accustomed to playing 4 strings, but now I couldn't imagine playing anything else! Plays well and does pretty much what I need it to do.

Anyhow, I'm sure I'll be around these forums a fair bit from here on in so yeah HELLO EVERYONE!!
