Gordon Waller of Peter & Gordon fame died July 17, 2009 at age 64

I'm sorry to hear that. I saw them perform back in the mid 60's, and the one thing that sticks in my mind was when they came out on stage, the girls in the audience began that shrill screaming thing they used to do back then. P&G stood there waving and smiling, then as it went on and on, they stopped waving, and then after another while they stopped smiling and just stood there looking kind of pained. Finally, one of them stepped up to the mic and hollered, "OH, SHUT UP!"
