Am considering the Gorm 300 and have a question about using the monitor input with a CD player for practice and play-along purposes. Is this input stereo? If not, is there a simple way to go from CD stereo output to Gorm mono monitor input?

The connector is 1/4" balanced. If your CD has RCA connectors you'll need RCA-to-1/4" wire. Portable CD/MD players have the right connector already.

Don't you get just one channel this way? Some instructional CDs have the band on one side and the bass on the other. There probably is no alternative to adding some box that can mix A/B into mono, and provide A or B only mono operation.
