Konnichiwa! I find myself in a sticky situation and need all the help I can get from my TB brethren. My chronic GAS is acting up and I've decided to focus it on my rig.
Right now I just run my Ampeg SVP-PRO straight to the board and use the monitors as my amp. It sounds fine, the stage rumbles, no muss, no fuss and no 80 pound combo to carry around. So the question becomes obvious: treat the GAS or leave well enough alone and let it pass. BTW, I'd have to pay retail for a new amp since there's no such thing as a discount here and the combos I want are too heavy for shipping via the Post Office.

Thanks, gents. Just the reassurance I was looking for. MrFortuneCookie, you may put this thread out of it's misery as you see fit.
  5. I would masaru, but amps isn't in my jurisdiction.
