I'm curious what setting you use to get a good gospel sound. That Thick, pure bassy sound that's pretty much standard. I've gotten close, but I can't get a thick sound on the D and G strings above their fifth fret.
I'm palying for my church choir and we're having our first practice tomorrow. I've learnt all the songs, but I need some tip on getting 'that sound' using EQ and the Bass POD's resources.

Memphis Bottom is one of my favorite presets...for getting down low but still clean. 8-A I think.
  3. Dunno the presets from the Live version - but on my "Bean" version I've got a setting I've simply called "Jamerson" - Basically an Ampeg B-15 with whichever cab gives it the fullest sound - try it out - bass up to 10, mids and highs at 3 o clock...THE sound for Motown anyway!
