finally got her today! :D funny thing is they are gonna sell my bass i traded in for 700 when i payed 650 for it new lol. anyways this bass is beyond amazing. very woody sounding bass. im in love!!! boy my gf is gonna be jealous since her play time will be cut in half lol! :p

  2. sounds awsome man. how many strings on it? did you get a stain or just a natural finish? i wanted to get a cirrus tiger eye but they weren't able to get it in by the time i needed so i went with red wood instead. i'm kinda glad i did because it's something different from the normal quilted maple and bubinga that most people seem to be getting.

ill post some pics soon as well as a review. im on my way to a jam session right now so ill see how she does in a band situation. :) shes a 4 stringer... i thought about moving up to a 5 but the 4 sounds so much more focused and articulate. stain or natural? i thought the tiger eye only came in one color? the tigerish lookin super flashy finish. the peacock blue looks really kewl. ive tried sooooooo many basses lately. nothing could touch the cirrus. warwick, ric, most expensive fenders, ernieball, tobias, pedulla, no one came close. closest was modulus at twice the price! well im off to rock out. expect pics with a review soon.

now for the review. im makin my own categories here. :D

    comfort: 5
this beast is a feather! so light and so comfortable.

    action: 5
the ebony fretboard is outstanding. very slim neck. doesnt really matter to me since i have big hands.

    tone: 5
you can go from standing out from the mix to blending in with warm fat tones. just a turn of a knob or 2. she can do just about anything. very powerful preamp. the tigers eye is the only cirrus with sweepable mids. same preamp as the millenium.

    appearence: 5
the most beautiful thing ive ever seen. my gf is really gonna kill me for this one lol! :D

    value: 5
if you wanna spend twice as much for a bass equal to this one go ahead. ;) peavey is the bomb these days. best value period!

Congrats!! Great bass. I have a G-bass and a Millennium 5, so all i need for the hat trick is a Cirrus. It's great to see so much buzz about the Cirrus lately. Rock On!

It's an incredible looking bass. How would you describe it's tone?

I've heard it has *it's own* disntinctive tone...
No one really describes it's distinctive tone though...

    Punchy? Warm?

    Congrats though, it's beautiful!
