Got a Guitarist!!!

    My buddy plays guitar and is quite good.Since he lives in my area,we have been getting together to learn/play some of the same material.

    What a blast!!!!:) So far we are working on 5 songs
    together.Our main problem is that we don`t know all to much of the same songs....yet!;)

    Now.....to find a drummer and a singer.Hmmmm.
    Really a kick in the butt to play with a guitarist,can`t imagine how much more fun it would be to have a drummer in the mix! Yikes!!!

    playing with other guys or in a band really improves a lot your style. and you can really realize what kind of equipment you really need.

    Nice one Usul!!!

    Barroso is bang on, playing with other people will really help you with your playing. It'll force you to learn stuff (somtimes stuff you would never have touched), sort out timing and develop your own style if you start doing original stuff.

    I know, 'cos I was a bedroom bassist for years, never really going anywhere, just jammin' along with my Cds. Since getting into the band (or more properly going through the various incarnations of the band) I feel I've developed quite a bit more.
