I finally got to pick up my new bass at the shop yesterday! My old Squier Precision can now take a well-deserved rest! :hyper:
    • Mahogany body
    • Five piece maple/walnut neck
    • Ebony fretboard
    • EMG 35-DC/P4 Active pick-ups
    • EMG Active EQ
    • Black Satin finish
    • Neck-through body construction
    • Grover tuners
    • Strings through body or bridge
    • 35" scale length
This bass sounds awesome. My tone cuts through like a hot knife through butter. I can get the exact sound I hear in my head with the tone controls (Volume, Blend, Bass, Mid, Treble). Tapping feels much easier, which may be due to the Ebony fretboard. The neck-through construction feels awesome when playing in the upper-registers.

I was told there was only 1500 of these things made, which, if it's true, is pretty cool. I got a nice thick leather strap to go with it, and I plan on having a Hip-Shot Extender installed. I also strung some DR SunBeams onto it, and they sound great. The satin finish, unlike gloss, shows hardly any fingerprints, and make for a smooth, fast neck. And I dig the inlay! :)

    Here are some pictures; enjoy!

Phat! With the 35" scale it'll be easy to tune BEAD. Very cool.
I would cover the red logo & skull & crossbones however.

It is most excellent that you have found YOUR tone. Very nice bass. By the way, DR Sunbeams rule. :)
