Got A New...

    ...AMP!!!!!

    I picked up my brand new Yorkville Bassmaster 400 combo yesterday. I've been playing it ever since. Had to pull myself away to come post this.

    This amp rocks, esp. for the price. Set flat, it has solid mmids and clear highs, but is a bit lacking in the lows. But, with a few graphic EQ tweaks, it has some serious bottom end. The contour switch drains all the mids from the tone. All and all, this is a great amp. I am very happy with it.

    Just a question to those of you who now a bit about Graphic Eq's or EQing in general, what are some good starting settings for me to work off of. I think it has a 9 band, and i don't remeber the frequencies off the top of my head. Any help would be appreciated.

    I think the best advice I can give is:
    TWEAK AS MUCH AS YOU CAN UNTIL YOU FIND "THE SOUND".

    That´s what I do....... I´m always changing things on the EQ, ......a little here... a little there.....
