not sure if this goes in basses or luthiers... im building a bass soon and i originally wanted there to only be a gloss or satin finish...but i keep having an itch for a white bass. just wanted to know if anyone had pictures of their white jazzes. pickguards or not, matching headstock or not, painted necks or not. even if its just a white jazz body i want to see it. in my head i am looking for a solid white body, blue pearl pickguard, and gold hardware...or black.......silver maybe? i suck at making decisions... by the way, whoever owns the all white 5-string warwick streamer with blue leds...i might have to find you and steal it. beautiful bass.
Not a great shot but I love my white Jazz. {} Got it because of my bass playing inspiration Dee Murray(RIP) played one. I own one of his basses, not the white Jazz tho'. {}
I've got an olympic white jazz with red tort, ill post picks in a couple hours when i get home from work :-] it looks really nice.
Yep, he was the reason I took up the bass in high school(1976). I am the proud owner of a Steinberger bass of his, got it from his widow. It's the bass used on the "Too Low For Zero" album, and the hit "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues". Sorry for the thread hijack. {} {} {} {}
{} ...Oops, sorry. By white I thought you meant sunburst, and by Jazz Bass I thought you meant StingRay, my bad.

I've got a white MIM Classic 60s Jazz that I'm having my tech do a relic job on. I hope it comes out this vibey. I told him to "Nash"-ify it. He's gotten a secret solution together to age the hardware...body relic-ing is the easy part. I'm also having the pickups swapped out for Custom Shop 60's, and will most likely have a Sadowsky pre dropped in. It's gonna be sweet. Hopefully pics in a week or so.
