As some of you know, I've been involved in the interview process with Mesa/Boogie for the last few weeks. It seems that I am moving along ok here, because they just called me in for a meeting with the Vice President and the Worldwide Director of Sales tomorrow at the factory! Woo! I'm amped up! John (Sales Director) mentioned that he may be looking at me for a position in customer service or artist relations, rather than the Sales Manager position that has opened up. That's still a possibility, but it gives me hope that it looks like they are trying to find a place for me regardless of whether I am a good fit for the Sales Manager position or not. Now I've got to plan some things to tell them tomorrow - ideas to help increase communication & confidence to dealers, stuff like that. Too bad I've never had a job like this - it's hard coming up with ideas for a job you've never had before! Time to make some phone calls! Gah!! I've got to get myself a haircut and some decent clothes! Can't got in there looking like Brendan or something; they'd turn me away before I get in the door.
