Ahhh.. I'm not alone anymore. :)

I love my Zon Lightwave fretted... it's just superb, no noise. So much so that it's exposed all my flaws as a player. :D

It'll be good to hear a review of one in good condition. I tried one, but the store was so dry that the frets all stuck out like a row of needles, plus the four strings ranged from ok-sounding to low volume to distorted, so I'm assuming that the electronics needed a charge. Very disappointing. I will say that it was very light.

Wow!! Looking forward to the sound bite!

Is it safe to assume that the body is alder? What's string spacing on that puppy?
  10. thanks boog!

yes, its alder. my current favorite body wood.

love the way it sounds and plays.

i'll check the string spacing tonight.

    clips this weekend.

wow.....purpleheart tops never seem to stop amazing me.....very very nice.

I love how everything else is the same light wood color, while the top is this intense purply-pink color. mmm....looks good enough to lick and expect it to taste fruity  :D

Wow...that top is awesome! I love the contrast of the dark purpleheart with the lighter alder and maple. Cool bass! ;)

Hows the price differ from the Lightwave models?

I know the Lightwave's are extremely affordable!

    Looks great!
  14. looks like a raspberry fruit-rollup!!!

    i'll lick it this weekend.

pricing is about the same as the Lightwave models.

    Absolutely lovable

    Gee I want one...

Someone said they are very affordable - well as I was already looking for a new bass...
How much are they? Are they available in Europe? Oh and are there lefty 6-string models? :) if you can give me a webpage address, that would make me very happy.
If anyone was to reply, thanks :)
  17. don't think a 6 string version is avail.

not sure about the lefty either.

Jack Wilson of TBC will be unavailable for a few weeks.

i can ask him when he gets back.

nice guy he is. yes indeedy.

i like the simple finish on these TBC's. just have to be careful to avoid dings.

    nice workmanship.

the fretted really does sound great with the lightwaves.
