Well I got it in on thursday and cannot put it down.
It is a euro spector crfm 5 string green stain, it has emg dc40s and schaller tuners, and the new aguilar preamp. I have not hooked it up to my main rig yet but it sound wonderful through my practice amp(crate 15w). I practice with the band on sunday and will see what this babys got. I bought it from Bass Central from my man Gard there, lets just say I got a killer deal. Pics will be coming shortly.

Was the Aguilar preamp an option or an extra?

  4. They're standard on the new ones.

Czech Spector are great sounding and looking bass. my experience is with an old SSD made in Czech republic. the only negative point is that those basses are really really heavy!

Congrats on your bass man - I'm sure you'll be very happy with it!!!

I have one of the earlier NS5CR basses with the EMG BTS preamp and it's great - the Aguilar must be quite something!

I also have a very new, but SSD NS5CR - not EMG equipped at all (yet), but still a great bass!!

    Have Fun!:)

  8. Congrats on your new Spector!!! I've got 3 Czech mad Spectors so I can tell you that you will not need to buy another bass (except one ot two or ten more Spectors)!!!

BTW, be sure to visit the Spector bass club at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/spectorbassclub/

  9. I currently have GAS for a Czech 4-string neck through (see below). I want one with the blue stain.:)
